| Description |
English: Rubbing Post. The moat was built sometime between the 13th and 15th centuries. It was also the site of an Iron Age Settlement dating from 2500 to 3000 years ago. The post in the centre of the island was probably a rubbing post for animals erected sometime in the 1860's. See also: 481670 |
