English: Rusting iron remnant, Brownstone Battery This iron remnant from one of the batteries or mechanical engines used as part of the defences lies gradually oxidizing by the coastal path.
This is part of the base of the lower 6 inch gun, larger parts of it are further up the cliff. It looks as if it could have been broken up by using explosive. |
