Nyckelord: Föremålsbild, Rökelsehållare, Keramik
Description
Dekor i hög relief.
English: Jun ware incense burner, Yuan dynasty (1279-1368). Round the neck of the incense burner are two coiling dragons in applied relief, with a central disc that says ”sun”, and below that monster masks. The shape of the censer is typical of the Yuan dynasty. A much larger incense burner of similar shape was excavated in Inner Mongolia, bearing an inscription that said it was made by Xiao Song for himself, and dated to 1309. Exhibited in Stockholm in 1914.
