The South Carolina National Guard's 263d Army Air and Missile Defense Command (AAMDC) in Anderson, S.C., provides training and readiness oversight for the North Dakota Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 188th Air Defense Artillery (ADA) May 27 to June 15, 2013. The Culminating Training Event (CTE), which serves as the final validation and certification of Soldiers mobilizing in support of the National Capital Region (NCR), concluded with a live fire for the Avenger Missile System.
