Taken this afternoon (Sunday 2nd September) for the Project 366/2012 YIP group. VNB177L - Northern Counties-bodied Daimler Fleetline with dual-doors, which was new in November 1972 as 7206 and was based in Northenden. Preserved in it's original SELNEC Central colours. It's depicting the old 49 service which ran between my home of Wythenshawe and Piccadilly Gardens. VNB203L - Delivered new to SELNEC in January 1973 as 7232 and also dual-door. Not sure where this beauty was first based when new but it's now used as a support vehicle for rallies and events. Both owned by the SELNEC Preservation Society and seen at Heaton Park during the annual Trans Lancs Rally |
