Notes
  • Significance: Structure J is a sewer manhole very similar in appearance to Structure I. The sewer manhole is located atop a broad, linear ridge running from west to east. The ridge served as the south slope of Horse Thief Draw. The manhole is located approximately 1.25 miles northwest of Superior and is also located near the west edge of the old Superior townsite. The manhole consists of a bricklined vertical shaft with a depth of 5 feet 5 inches to fill. The shaft is topped by a concrete ring 2 feet 9 inches in diameter through which the manhole shaft passes. The shaft is 2 feet 2 inches in diameter at the top but expands below the concrete to 2 feet 9 inches. The bottom of the pit is covered with sediments and no additional features were noted.
