Description
Español: En un costat de la cinglera hi ha l’antiga església de Sant Salvador, de la qual es té constància ja en el segle XIII. L’edifici actual, refet en diverses ocasions, és d’estil renaixentista tardà, amb un campanar de planta quadrada amb obertures a cada banda i coronat per una teulada casquet adornat amb petites pilastres. Es conserva una finestra romànica tardana i diversos carreus de basalt reutilitzats. En l’església s’hi van fer celebracions litúrgiques fins que durant la Guerra Civil fou destruïda. El mal estat en què queda la construcció féu que, una vegada acabada la Guerra, es decidís construir una nova església a la part nova del poble i s’abandonés l’antic edifici. A mitjan anys 80, per iniciativa dels veïns, es va recuperar l’antiga església com a centre cultural. Cal dir que la restauració ha estat molt encertada, ja que s’ha combinat el vidre, el ferro i la pedra original.
