English: Scale helicopter at Barkston Heath A scale model helicopter rests on its pad, awaiting its turn to fly in the Scale Helicopter class in the British Model Flying Association national championships.
Across the flat expanses of RAF Barkston Heath we can see the 'traders village' where every kind of aeromodelling product can be purchased. On the left of the village can be seen a small gathering of people on the fixed wing scale judging and viewing line, with two more out on the main runway - the pilot and his helper. |
