Description
中文:臺中青果組合(後改制臺灣省青果合作社)的香蕉集貨場;香蕉在此裝入竹篦籠,由臺中車站經鐵路運抵基隆港,然後裝入船運至日本銷售。 當時,香蕉為臺灣大量輸往日本的水果之一,產地集中於大屯、員林、豐原、南投等地,至昭和年代後生產重心才轉移高雄,產量初以臺中州為最多,在當時有蕉農組成的「青果同業組合」、官方的「臺灣青果株式會社」及日本批發商的「荷受組合」等組織,分別進行生產、檢查、打包、銷售等工作。
