Summary[edit]

Description
English: Schist erratic Erratic boulders of granite are quite common, as they originate from within the wide outcrop of the Galway Batholith, but this block of schist is much rarer and has a much more specific origin from South Connemara. Tracing the origin of such distinctive blocks allows the direction of ice movement during the last Ice Age to be determined.
