Guapuruvu (Portuguese common name) is a magnificent, fast growing ornamental tree from tropical forests zones of the American Atlantic coast.

Botanical name: Schizolobium parahyba (There is Parahyba River in Brazil) Other common names: Brazilian fern tree, Tower tree, Guapiruvu, guanacaxtle
