Summary[edit]
DescriptionSchlosspark Bad Saarow Theresienhof 07.jpg |
English: Holiday village Schlosspark Bad Saarow at the eastern bank of the Scharmützelsee in Theresienhof. Theresienhof is a part (settlement, estate; german: Wohnplatz) of Bad Saarow, District Oder-Spree, Brandenburg, Germany. Originating as the watermill Pieskow the Theresienhof was an agricultural establishment for a long time. Under the name Theresienhof it was first mentioned in documents in 1851. Since 1918 it was used as recreation resort, holiday home or educational training center. In 2008 the main building (a villa or manor house, often referred to as a castle) was demolished. The holiday village Schlosspark Bad Saarow with about 140 holiday houses and accomodations in scandinavian style has been created on the site of the Theresienhof since 2008. |
