На площі біля пошти відбулись дня 10 цього місяця урочисте прийняття Української Народної Міліції в ряди Німецької Державної поліції. До уставлених в ряди наших міліціянтів (біля 300 людей) та їх команди промовив командант Гестапо п. Крігер. Привітом "Слава Україні" почав свою промову в якій вказав на тяжке і відповідальне

завдання служби безпеки, апелював до почуття обовязковості й точності, підкреслив велику працю Німців та досвід, який українська міліція може тепер собі засвоїти , зокрема, коли вона має між собою старшин колишньої Української Армії.

Приймаючи нашу міліцію в ряди служби безпеки пан командант видав перший наказ про поздоровлення та закінчив свою промову словами "Sieg! Heil!. Потым по відігранні оркестрою німецького гімну роздано команді міліції нові опаски, після чього пан командант разом з представниками обласної міліції прийняв дефляду. По закінченні дефляди діти обдарували команданта китицями квітів. Трибуна прикрашена німецькими й українськими прапорами. Багато української публіки. газета «Українське слово», середа, 13.08.1941 р
