Summary[edit]
DescriptionSeat painters near the White Rabbit statue - geograph.org.uk - 1204674.jpg |
English: Seat painters near the White Rabbit statue This part of the renovation scheme of the White Rabbit statue which had been damaged by vandals. The statue stands near the former summer home of Alice Liddell, the cleric's daughter, who inspired Lewis Carroll to write the classic "Alice in Wonderland". The restoration cost £4000. At the same time, Alice's house is being bulldozed to the ground to provide a site for an apartment block. |
