Description
English: 160411-N-SQ656-689 DETROIT (April 11, 2016) Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus delivers remarks at a naming ceremony at the GM Renaissance Center near the international riverfront in downtown Detroit. The Navy's newest Arleigh Burke class destroyer, DDG 120, was named Carl M. Levin in honor of the longest serving senator in Michigan history. The ship will be constructed at Bath Iron Works in Maine and is expected to enter the Navy fleet in 2020. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt. Kristine Volk/Released)
