MOOIN rUOWER (Ipomoea Grandiflora Alba . This is one of the most vigor-ous or all the summer climbers. Will jjrow thirty to forty feetin a single season and will be covered with its large, white flowersevery trveuiug and cloudy day. The hard, outer coat of the seedshould be cut through with a sharp knife, care being taken not tocut any deeper than the hard shell, and the seed planted about oneinch deep in moist soil in a box or pan and set in a warm place.If the soil be kept moist, germination will take place in ten daysto two weeks. After the plants aie up tend carefully and plantout doors in a sunny situation when danger from frost is past.Water freely throughout the summer. Rich soil tends to makethe plant run to vines and leaves, while poor earth will produceearlier and more abundant flowers.
