Deutsch: Seester (Schleswig-Holstein) – Dorfstraße 45 – Kate mit Auslucht aus dem 18. Jahrhundert

– Die giebelständige Kate stammt aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Sie bildet zusammen mit der benachbarten Kate (Hausnummer 47) ein ortsprägendes Ensemble. Das reetgedeckte Haus hat auf der Straßenseite einen zweistufig verschalten Vollgiebel mit linksseitig vorgelagerter Auslucht.
(Die Auslucht – niederdeutsch Utlucht – ist die ebenerdige Sonderform eines Erkers, die bei Katen und Bürgerhäusern in Norddeutschland verbreitet ist. Oft ermöglicht sie einen Ausblick in Längsrichtung der Straße.)

– Vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg wurde die Fassade erneuert. Dabei hat man alte Dielentür durch eine Tür im Stil der Gründerzeit ersetzt.
