Description

Senador Raimundo Gomes de Araújo Parente nasceu no dia 04/11/1930 em Canutama (AM). Eleito deputado federal em 1966 e suplente em 1970, foi efetivado quando o Tribunal Regional Eleitoral cassou o mandato de Rafael Faraco no ano seguinte ao pleito. Reeleito em 1974 foi escolhido presidente do diretório regional da ARENA, o que lhe valeu um mandato de senador pela via indireta em 1978. Mais tarde migrou para o PDS e para o PDT não se reelegendo senador em 1978 e pelo PSDB perdeu a eleição para deputado federal em 1990. Foi eleitor de Paulo Maluf no Colégio Eleitoral em 1985. Falecimento: 04/05/1991
