English: 160901-N-VR008-047 ORANGE, California (Sept. 1, 2016) – Aviation Electronics Technician 2nd Class Peter Wallace and Aviation Maintenance Administrationman 2nd Class Elisa Veliz, both assigned to amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), and Cpl. Cody Douglas (center) assigned to Marine Light Helicopter Attack Squadron 369, play a card game with a patient at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, during the inaugural Los Angeles Fleet Week. Fleet week offers the public an opportunity to tour ships, meet Sailors, Marines, and members of the Coast Guard and gain a better understanding of how the sea services support the national defense of the United States and freedom of the seas.
