Description
English: From the top left, retired Medal of Honor recipients U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Hershel Woodrow 'Woody' Williams, U.S. Army 1st Lt. Vernon J. Baker, U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Walter D. Ehlers, U.S. Army 1st Lt. Charles Patrick Murray Jr., and from the bottom left, U.S. Army 2nd Lt. Van T. Barfoot, U.S. Navy Lt. John Finn, and U.S. Marine Corps Pfc. Arthur J., Jackson, pose together for guests prior to an awards ceremony held in the hangar bay aboard the USS Midway Museum in San Diego, Calif., May 24, 2008. The seven recipients will receive the Midway American Patriot Award and The National World War II Museum's American Spirit Award during the black-tie gala, "Beyond the Call of Duty."
