| Description |
English: London Transport bus DMO5 (reg. CRU 186C), a 1965 Daimler CRG6 Fleetline double-decker with convertible open top Weymann bodywork, pictured passing along Cumberland Gate in Marble Arch while operating the Round London Sightseeing Tour. This was one of a fleet of 7 such buses that were new to Bournemouth Transport, originally their fleet no.s 182 to 187, and 189, but also given names (186 having been Hampshire). LT purchased them in 1977 to take over the RLST duty from hired closed top OM-class buses. They operated from the 1978 to 1981 season before being withdrawn and sold on, with DMO4 retained and used occassionally until 1984. |
