English: Sign near Blaxton Quay. The sign also appears in 1044124. Is it a coincidence that the South West Region Byelaw SW 10 includes a prohibition as follows: "No instrument licensed for taking eels shall be placed in any river or stream upstream of an imaginary line drawn across:- ... (r) the River Tavy from Bere Ferrers Quay to the Southern bank of the Blaxton Stream at its confluence with the River Tavy;"? http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/commondata/acrobat/eel_hbk_2007_v_1_03_1876804.pdf Probably.
Across Blaxton Creek is Blaxton Wood, and the headland shown in 477335. |
