In December, in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and eight, our dear old AlmaMater, after numerous miscarriages and premature labors, gave birth to a strong and lustyinfant which was christened Athletics. Now, this infant grew and developed with wonder-ful rapidity, reaching a mature size and stage in the course of one short week. Behold! This miraculouscreature immediately holds your interest and attention, as it is composed of six great parts or sections,firmly joined together, for fear that by the loosing of one part it might be considered a cripple or freak ofnature by the world. Now then, we have examined this creature and find that the six part or sections thereof consist of ahead, body and four ponderous legs. We shall now give these parts their correct anatomical names—thehead, The Advisory Board ; the body, The Athletic Association, and the four legs, in order. FootBall, Basket Ball, Track Team, and Base Ball. Furthermore, we must study each part more thoroughly,
