Summary[edit]
DescriptionSkerryvore lighthouse - former barracks (geograph 6888669).jpg |
English: Skerryvore lighthouse - former barracks. All that remains of the former barracks where those constructing the lighthouse stayed for weeks on end. Apparently during storms these workmen preferred to shelter in the base of the as-yet uncompleted lighthouse rather than in these barracks as they deemed it more secure. |
