Description
Svenska: SKÅP med två nycklar. I valnötsträ med beslag av brons bestående av ett överskåp ovanpå en byrå. Fanerat på blindträ av ek, med inläggningar (intarsia) i ljust, mörkt och grågrönt jämte eventuellt senare pålagda snidade rokokoornament i mörkbrunt. Övre delen består av ett skåp med två dörrar på pinnhäng. Skåpet har ett konturerat överstycke med ett musselliknande ornament i mitten samt två konsolliknande utsprång med årtalet 17 och 23 inlagt i ljust trä. Nedanför musselornamentet ett genombrutet blad och musselornament. Nedre delen är en byrå med fyra lådor och en klaff, starkt utstående karnisformiga fashörn och raka kortsidor. Fashörnen är bridbara 8på pinnhäng) och innanför varje hörn finns fem små lådor ovanpå verandra. Fashörnen stänges meddels en på övre facklistens undersida befintlig skjutregel av trä.
Inköpt av Wilhelmina von Hallwyl den 4 juni 1897 hos konsthandlaren Johann Bosshard, Luzern, för 2.500 CHF.
