English: Snettisham railway station (site), Norfolk Opened in 1862 by the Lynn & Hunstanton Railway, later part of the Great Eastern Railway, this station closed in 1969. View south west towards the forecourt, centre left. The former goods shed is to the right. Both have been incorporated into a housing development. The double track railway was behind the station building and there were two parallel platforms, one towards Hunstanton (right) and one towards King's Lynn (left). |
