English: Soil (ploughed field) near Ivy's Copse An interesting picture of the soil type here near Ivy's Copse, at Great Bedwyn. Not only is the soil a very light brown colour, but it is quite 'dry' and powdery in texture. Also, we can see here that there are many chalk and chalkstone fragments littered within it, from the underlying chalkbase that this area sit upon. |
