"Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue And the dreams that you dare to dream, Really do come true..." So this may have been an interesting decision on my part to convert this flower macro to B&W, but I am in love with the result. I love the tones and shapes in this image, I love how abstract it is. For me this is a very special photo and I really feel a connection to this image, it is a photo I have had on standby waiting to process for about five weeks until I felt the time was right. I have learnt to really slow down and take my time with my processing, particularly my B&W images, and I don't often process on the same day as I shoot now (I always used to rush straight home and process). Hopefully you can see the difference :P Just because I am in love with the photo it doesn't mean I am not interested to hear thoughts and opinions on it, if you like it then I would like to know why, and if you don't like it then speak up as well :) Camera: Canon EOS Kiss X4 Lens: Canon EF100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Exposure: 0.017 seconds Aperture: f/10 Focal Length: 100mm |
