Description
English: Sailors assigned to the Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate USS Underwood (FFG 36) ride a rigid-hull inflatable boat while a helicopter tracks it during a qualification for the embarked U.S. Coast Guard law enforcement detachment. Underwood is deployed to the Caribbean in support of Operation Martillo and U.S. 4th Fleet's mission, Southern Seas 2012. The U.S. Navy is constantly deployed to preserve peace, protect commerce, and deter aggression through forward presence. Join the conversation on social media using #warfighting.
