Déri kert/literally/misleading: Déri garden. In fact this is one of the biggest Park in the City. About the namesake: Frigyes Déri (Bács, 1852 – Vienna, 1924) was a factory owner, art collector, honorary citizen of Debrecen. He donated his rich, universal cultural history collection to Baja, and in 1914 he assumed the costs of placing the collection in the building of the "House of Public Culture" to be built on the land purchased from the Franciscan Order (Garden of Friends). The outbreak of World War I put the plan in the "post-peace" period, but in November 1918 Baja came under Serbian occupation and its situation became uncertain, so Frigyes Déri donated his collection to Debrecen in 1920, and the Déri Museum was built. Due to the inflation of the Hungarian korona (currency) after World War I, the amount given to Baja as compensation was only enough for the landscaping of the garden purchased from the Franciscans: the Déri Garden. Here is at the west entry, between stairs is the Frigyes Déri bust by Ervin Páljános (1986 bronze) at a memorial wall, two plaques on the wall with inscription: "This garden was given to our city by Frigyes Déri" AND "as a home for sunshine, birdsong, children's laughter" Note: the former Déri bust, rplaced by the 'new' one, a 1934 work demolished in the 1970s? because road construction. - Also close to west entry of tthis Park is the Memorial stone of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution by Károly Kirchmayer (1996 works, bronze CoA reliefs on limestone memorial). - On the east part of the Park is the the Heroes Monument. It is under local protection The 23 m high obelisk of the heroic dead of World War I, erected in the Deri Garden, stands on a concrete/artificial stone column measuring approx. 2x2x1.5 m, the inscription "It cannot be that so many hearts shed blood in vain", the numbers 1914 and 1918 on the obelisk are one below the other, above it is a 2-2.5 meter size relief of a sword, its ceremonial inauguration took place on October 15, 1933. Planned by Ferenc Miskolczy painter, graphic artist, László Miskolczy, Kossuth Prize-winning architect and Jenő Padányi Gulyás architect AND the Baja Soviet Heroes' Monument and Cemetery - The memorial garden/memorial place in the eastern part of the Déri Garden is 130 m long and 20 m wide, in there are three obelisks. Here rests are the known and registered heros of the Southern Group of Forces in the memorial garden - several of whom were transferred from the area to the grave. The monument was demolished in 1956. The inscription on the obelisk: "In this cemetery rest the heroic soldiers of the Soviet-Russian Red Army, who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of our homeland 1944-1945." /translated by Bing translator/ - bordered by Deák Ferenc Street, Déri Frigyes Promenade, Petőfi Sándor Street and Széchenyi István Street, Baja, Bács-Kiskun County, Hungary.

(A tervezők: Miskolczy Ferenc festő grafikus, Miskolczy László Kossuth-díjas építész, Padányi Gulyás Jenő)[3] - 1935-ben a Déri-kert régi falába öt új kovácsoltvas díszkapu és rács (Kara János lakatosmester kivitelezése). 1945-ben az egyik Deák Ferenc utcai kapu majd 1965-ben a Petőfi utcai elbontódott. 1955-ben Déri-kert új téglakerítés létesült vázákkal a Deák Ferenc utca és Széchenyi utcák felőli oldalon.
