More than 2,000 Afghan elders attended the Jirga, or grand council, in which a near unanimous decision was made to endorse Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai’s endorsement to negotiate a long-term security partnership with the U.S Spartan 3 is a 15-person team who serve as combat advisers to ANP officers at more than 50 different checkpoints within five Kabul police districts throughout the densely populated city. |
