76 THE ST0RR3 & HARRISON CO.'S CATALOGUE f lorence Vaughan. A splendid variety, yellow with bright red spots; one of the best of its class. The flowers are of good size, with thick, overlapping petals, nicely rounded at the ends. A strong, vigorous grower. J. D. Cabos. One of the best dark foli- aged varieties, has dark greenish maroon foliage, with a bronze metallic luster;! flowers bright orange or apricot, ti i very distinct variety; fine early and late' profuse bloomer. Progression. Color, deep golden yel ow, heavily spotted and splashed crimson. Vigorous grower, 4 to 4)4 feet. A free and continuous bloorrer. 10c. each; $1.00 per doz. President Carnot. Has good-sized truss of large flowers; foliage deep chocolate maroon. Color of bloom, orange scar- let. One of the best of the dark-leaved sorts. Queen Charlotte. Bright orange scar'et, deeply edged bright canary yellow. The flowers are very large, with broad, well rounded petals, borne in immense heads, well above the foliage. The leaves are large, musa-like, deep green. Plant is of dwarf, sturdv habit.
