CURLED AND CRESTED. THUNBERGIA. Beautiful rapid-growing climbers, thriving in a light, rich soil; in warm situations in the garden it blossoms very profusely all the season; fine for vases, rustic work, or greenhouse culture. Half-hardy annuals; 5 feet. Fine mixed 5 WALL FLOWER. The large, massive spikes of the Wall Flower are very conspicuous in beds or borders, and are very useful in making bouquets. They are deliciously frag- rant, perfectly double, and combine many shades of color, the orange, purple and chocolate predominating; tender perennial, V/2 feet. Mixed 10 XERANTHEMUMS. Showy Everlastings; flowers white, purple and yellow, single and double. Sow in Spring and thin to one foot apart. Hardy annual; 1 foot. Mixed. .5 ZINNIAS. The Zinnia ranks high in public esti- mation as a showy, free-flowering, easily grown plant for the Summer garden. The seed can be sown early in hot-bed and transplanted or sown later in the open ground. Hardy annuals. Scott Co., Iowa. Gentlemen:—Seeds and plants arrived in splendid condition. Please accept thanks for liberal supply of extras. Tours truly, JOHX DeLAKTJE. Curled and Crested. The flowers of this fine class of Zinnias are of perfect form—large, round, full, and double, the petals being twisted, rendering them entirely free from the stiffness which was heretofore characteristic o: this family. A variety of splendid colors 1J. Zebra. Flowers of perfect shape of all colors, orange, crimson, yellow, scar- let, white, etc., three-fourths of which are striped and spotted with different shades, hardly any two plants pro- ducing flowers alike. Mixed colors.5 Double Pompone. The flowers are con- siderably smaller and much better shape than the ordinary Zinnia; very double and of the most beautiful form and vivid colors; fine for bouquets. The habit of growth is compact. Fine mixed colors 10 Mammoth Flowered. The plants of the New Giant race form handsome bushes 3 feet high, and the mammoth perfectly formed double flowers meas- ure 5 and 6 inches across and are of striking colors. Mammoth Mixed 10 Tall Double Large Flowered. A class too well known to need any description. Mixed 5 Double White, Scarlet, Orange, Purple, each 5
