| Description |
English: Spring Bottom, Sutton Poyntz Spring Bottom is a major fresh water source in this area - the waterworks are in the centre of the shot. The village of Sutton Poyntz features in the middle distance, with Weymouth bay and town top left.
Towards the right horizon is the prehistoric hill fort of Chalbury Hill, with man-made terracing just visible. The more obvious terracing on the near hill is simply the result of sheep creating horizontal paths. |
