Tag der Hitler-Jugend im Städtischen Stadion (1937)

Die „Hitler-Jugend" (HJ, gegründet 1926) war die Jugendorganisation der NSDAP. Nach dem Machtantritt Hitters wurden 1933 alle anderen Jugendorganisationen aufgelöst, verboten oder von der HJ übernommen. Die HJ wurde zur Staatsjugend und neben Elternhaus und Schule zur Erziehungsinstanz.

The "Hitler Youth" (Hitler-Jugend HJ, founded in 1926), was the youth organisation of the NSDAP. After Hitler's rise to power in 1933, all other youth organisations were dissolved, forbidden, or taken over by the "Hitler Youth". The "Hitler Youth" became the state youth organisation and was the main educator next to the home and the schools.

Von 1933 bis 1938 benutzten die Nationalsoznallsten das Städtische Stadion für ihre Zwecke. Während der Reichsparteitage war es Schauplatz für die Aufmärsche der „Hitler-Jugend". Sie machten bauliche Veränderungen erforderlich. Das Stadion erhielt vergrößerte Zugänge, ein weiteres Eingangstor, eine „Führerplattform" und eine zusätzliche Holztribüne mit zwei Türmen gegenüber der Haupttribüne.

From 1933 to 1938, the National Socialists used the municipal stadium for their purposes. During the Party Rallies, it was the scene of march-pasts by the "Hitler Youth". This made structural alterations necessary. The stadium entrances were enlarged, a "Führer platform" was added, as well as additional wooden stands with two towers opposite the main grandstand.
