| Description |
English: St. Benet's Abbey site of high altar This cross marks the site of the high altar of the former St. Benet's Abbey. A service is held here every year. The cross is made from wood from the Queen's estate at Sandringham and was erected in 1987. The remains of the abbey can be seen beyond, and although the layout is reasonably clear there is not much to see on the ground. |
