| Description |
English: St. Margaret's church, Sotterley The south door across the churchyard. Sotterley Hall is immediately to the right. It is said that the people of the hall did not like mourners passing the hall and visiting the graveyard, so another one was provided at the crossroads in the village. There is a very good description of the church here http://www.suffolkchurches.co.uk/sotterley.htm Note the amount of fine detail the interior of the church contains. |
