Description
English: St Mary's parish church, Broughton, Lincolnshire: stair turret and lower part of the west tower, seen from the south. This is one of only four Anglo-Saxon church towers in England with an external staircase turret. The lower part of the tower was built about 1050 and has much typically Anglo-Saxon herringbone masonry.
