| Description |
English: St Helier railway station An island platform and a small waiting room are the minimalist facilities that are available at this station on London's extensive southern suburban network. On weekdays there is a half-hourly service of trains to Wimbledon with connections to main line services. A journey to London Waterloo is scheduled at 35 minutes.
The station is named after the St Helier inner London overspill housing estate built in the vicinity between 1928 and 1936; the estate itself was named in honour of Lady St Helier, who was a London County Council Alderman between 1910 and 1927. |
