English: St Peter's Church on the Ridgeway A classic hilltop traverse typical of ancient drover's roads and trade routes, the Ridgeway is now a recreational walk but was once a route of pilgrimage. The sad remains of St Peter's church are a reminder of the former life of the route in the 18th century. |
