Summary
[edit]DescriptionSt Peter's church - tower and porch - geograph.org.uk - 1313553.jpg |
English: St Peter's church - tower and porch. St Peter's church > 1313549 - 1313555 has a Norman round tower and is built from flint, with red-brick buttresses that were added later. The elaborately carved south door > 1313574 appears to be ancient and presumably dates from the 15th century. The probably most noteworthy feature inside the church is one of only a handful remaining seven sacrament fonts > 1313566 in East Anglia. The rest of the interior > 1313562 is 19th century and the carved royal arms are to Queen Victoria > 1313573. The church is open every day.
