English: Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal, Wolverhampton. The canal is seen here from the bottom gates of Compton Lock. The A454 road to Bridgnorth crosses the canal here. The image can be compared with the one taken from the other side of Compton Bridge: 626523 It will be seen that the narrowboat just beyond the bridge in this picture has turned round. The wharf on the left is for customers of Limekiln Chandlers (recommended). |
