| Description |
English: Stag and Arch rocks, Freshwater Bay The chalk rocks of these cliffs are under constant attack by wave action undercutting them. Large blocks fall away or arches form and collapse leaving stacks isolated from the main cliff. Here Stag rock is some way away from the main cliff and the closer Arch rock is the remains of a natural arch. As can be seen, it is vulnerable to the sea and in October 1992 Arch rock fell into the sea and only the bases remain.
