Незмінним командиром Січових Стрільців був Євген Коновалець», «Січові Стрільці, що від початку формування вирізнялись дисциплінованістю та боєздатністю, були надійною військовою опорою Української Народної Республіки. Січові Стрільці заслужено вважалися однією із найкращих частин Армії УНР».
