Description

"From left to right: Gunnery Sergeant Leroy Poulson--Gunner, Lance Corporal John Phelps--Crew Chief, Captain R.E. "Skeets" Fairfield--Co-Pilot, Captain S.W. Pless--Pilot."

Stephen Pless was presented the Medal of Honor for actions as a helicopter gunship pilot attached to Marine Observation Squadron Six near Quang Ngai, Vietnam on 19 August 1967.
