Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Stone explaining archaeological findings Each of the four sides of this stone explains different findings from this ancient site excavated by Pitt-Rivers in 1886-7. This was a complete surprise to us on this walk, and sadly it cannot often be visited, given the remote nature of the site. See Earthworks on the map.
