| Description |
English: Stoney Road, Llanteg Now known by new residents as 'Chapel Lane' but through the years has always been known by locals as 'The Stoney Road'. Not that it is now but many years ago it was resurfaced and patched with pebbles from the nearby Amroth Beach - so it was definitely stoney then! At that time there were no properties along its length but the new dwellings took the name 'Chapel Lane' from the Mountain Chapel that was at its northern junction - and unfortunately the name has stuck.
To the bottom left behind the fence is what was once known as 'The Captain's Pond'. At the northern end of the road is the junction with the A477 trunk road at Mountain Chapel. |
