Description
English: Stourbridge Canal - Demolished firebrick works The pile of bricks beside the canal was a part of Harris & Pearson's Silver End Works. The factory produced refractory products such as retorts, pressed bricks and wirecut bricks for the gas, steel and glass industries from the local Etruria Marl. This was one of several dozen in the area.
