| Description |
English: Shunting at Stourbridge Junction, with a GW '7400' 0-6-0PT. View northward from near the station: ex-GWR Worcester - Wolverhampton line, junction for Birmingham (Snow Hill). The '54/64/7400' classes were larger-wheeled versions of the '5700'/'8750' Pannier Tanks, designed for branch passenger work, the '54/6400' being auto-fitted; the '7400' were not so fitted but had a higher boiler pressure and were therefore more powerful. No. 7402 (built 8/36) is doing shunting work with the usual GW shunters' trolley-wagon. |
