Deutsch: Südwestansicht des Himmelsbergs in der steiermärkischen Marktgemeinde Straden.
Auf der Anhöhe befindet sich ein Kirchenensembleː Die Pfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt, südlich davon die Doppelkirche St. Sebastian (zugleich Aufbahrungshalle) und Maria Schmerzen (im Untergeschoss) sowie östlich davon die Filialkirche St. Florian. Die Baulichkeiten auf der Anhöhe waren früher Teil einer Kirchenburg, die erstmals im Jahr 1188 als Pfarre erwähnt wurde und nach Bränden und Kriegen immer wieder neu aufgebaut und dabei vergrößert wurde. Im 17. Jahrhundert entwickelte sich um die Marienstatue ein lebhafter Wallfahrtsbetriebː [1]. English: Southwest view of Himmelsberg in Straden. |
